The article response so shocking it couldn't be published (until afternoon)

This was originally posted before 1:00 but has since been edited as the situation has changed.

I read an agenda-driven article this morning on the University of Alabama's online newspaper and felt inclined to respond. The article began in support of the University offering more vegetarian dining options, but soon began taking backhanded, inaccurate jabs at animal agriculture. After I clicked submit, I received a message on the screen that all comments are subjected to a moderation process. At 12:30, the comment had still not been added. The original version of the post you are now reading included a summary of the comment I left. Sometime during the afternoon, however, the comment was added on their website so now I would simply invite you to click on the link at the top of the post to read the article and my response.

I am with you and your thoughts 100% I grew up on a dairy farm, I still have very close ties to the farming industry. And I really have a hard time understanding this kind of mindset?? As you have stated we take extremly good care of our animals, not only because it is our living , but it is just the right thing to do.

Will,
Thanks for being a voice in what sometimes feels like a lonely field. I think the agenda was made crystal clear when the author's PETA affiliation was revealed at the end of the article.
